The placemat carries the same lustrous vermilion silk as the matching runner, rendered in two distinct expressions. The Ripple — a tone-on-tone vermilion suminagashi floating-ink moiré, a study in fluid motion. The Starburst — silver metallic floral fireworks radiating against the crimson ground, mirroring the architectural energy of the centerpiece. The vermilion gives the setting its energy. The starburst gives it its rise.
