Nagoya mosaic, set at one place. The fascinating dialogue of the matching runner reduced to a single place — Nagoya florals, geometric bands, ikat borders gathered into one setting.
The structured composition presents a sophisticated grid: deep burgundy squares host stylised Nagoya floral medallions in soft lavender and terracotta, alternating with bands of intricate mint-green geometric stitching. The complex central field is framed by signature iridescent ikat-style borders — razor-sharp arrows of colour that cut through the warmth of saffron and rust. The terracotta gives the setting its warmth. The mosaic gives it its conversation.
A placemat that lifts a single place at the daily table — quiet beauty for ordinary moments, gathered around a shared meal.
Each placemat is lined in undyed silk to protect the face. No metal touches the visible silk.

Care
Care
Spot clean only — these are ceremonial silks, not washable textiles. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the depth of colour. The envelope pocket closure requires no zip or metal clasp touching the silk: this is intentional. Mottainai — nothing wasted, nothing forced.
