Nagoya mosaic. The dialogue between refined Japanese floral motifs and the bold geometry of textile traditions across Asia — held in heavyweight ceremonial silk.

The runner is drawn from a Japanese ceremonial silk obi — a heavyweight silk that radiates with brilliant terracotta and saffron tones. Refined Japanese Nagoya floral motifs meet bold geometric patterns in a rhythm that crosses textile traditions. Iridescent ikat-style borders frame the central composition with razor-sharp arrows of colour, anchoring the warmth of the saffron and rust ground. The terracotta gives the composition its warmth. The mosaic gives it its conversation.

A runner that turns the daily table into something a little finer — quiet beauty for ordinary moments, gathered around a shared meal.

The runner is lined in undyed silk to protect the face. No metal touches the visible silk.

Renaras: Japanese ceremonial silk, reimagined for daily life.

Each piece arrives with its own passport from the atelier — a small handmade record of the silk's first life and its transformation, signed and dated in Amsterdam.

Care

Spot clean only — these are ceremonial silks, not washable textiles. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the depth of colour. The envelope pocket closure requires no zip or metal clasp touching the silk: this is intentional. Mottainai — nothing wasted, nothing forced.
