The subtle ribbed weave catches light differently across the dynamic ombré, the silk shifting from bright scarlet through vermilion into deeper bordeaux as the eye moves along its length. The ribbed structure animates the colour transition with quiet tactile rhythm. The scarlet gives the composition its energy. The bordeaux gives it its dusk.

The runner is lined in undyed silk to protect the face. No metal touches the visible silk.
