Koki-Murasaki. The deep plum of imperial rank. In the classical Japanese court, murasaki was the colour reserved for nobles of the first order — entirely forbidden to those below them.
The foundation is dyed in koki-murasaki, deep plum that absorbs light in the shadows and releases it at the surface, shifting between eggplant, violet and near-black depending on the hour. Against this living ground, an asymmetrical chirashi composition unfolds: seigaiha wave arcs and matsu pine motifs in copper, slate blue and silver thread, placed with the deliberate imbalance of a classical Japanese ink painting rather than the mechanical symmetry of a loom. The plum gives the composition its lineage. The chirashi gives it its breath.
A runner that turns the daily table into something a little finer — quiet beauty for ordinary moments, gathered around a shared meal.
Reversible double-faced silk construction. No metal touches the visible silk.

Care
Care
Spot clean only — these are ceremonial silks, not washable textiles. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the depth of colour. The envelope pocket closure requires no zip or metal clasp touching the silk: this is intentional. Mottainai — nothing wasted, nothing forced.
