Kaki-iro meets architecture. Where Kyoto's loom meets pure geometric intelligence — persimmon silk, silver lattice, no figurative motif and none required.

A vivid panel of kaki-iro persimmon-orange silk — woven in a sharp herringbone chevron — meets a cool silver diamond lattice and burnished gold accents in a composition of rare graphic authority. There are no florals. No narrative motifs. Only the pure architectural intelligence of a master Nishijin weaver expressing form through structure. The persimmon gives the composition its conviction. The silver gives it its discipline.

A pillow for Bauhaus-influenced apartments, dark walnut studies, Scandinavian rooms seeking a deliberate moment of warmth — quiet beauty for ordinary moments, gathered around a shared table.

Seamless envelope closure. No metal touches the visible silk.

Renaras: Japanese ceremonial silk, reimagined for daily life.

Each piece arrives with its own passport from the atelier — a small handmade record of the silk's first life and its transformation, signed and dated in Amsterdam.

Shipping

Free shipping across Europe. Delivered within 3–5 business days. International shipping available — contact us for rates. All pieces are wrapped individually in tissue and despatched in a rigid, protective box.

Returns

Returns accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided the piece is returned in its original condition. As every textile is singular and unrepeatable, we ask that pieces are handled with care. Please contact us before returning. Read the full returns policy.

Care

Spot clean only — these are ceremonial silks, not washable textiles. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the depth of colour. The envelope pocket closure requires no zip or metal clasp touching the silk: this is intentional. Mottainai — nothing wasted, nothing forced.
