Across the surface, sweeping abstract wave currents — inspired by Raden (螺鈿), the Japanese art of inlaying mother-of-pearl — wash in champagne gold, cool silver, and the faintest whisper of apricot. The mosaic-like texture of the weave refracts light differently at every angle, giving this luxury silk cushion an almost liquid luminosity that no photograph entirely captures.
