Kiku in autumn. The imperial chrysanthemum at the season of its arrival — woven here at scale in gold across silk that holds the warmth of late October.
Against a warm gold silk ground, kiku chrysanthemums are joined by seasonal autumn florals — momiji in copper and bronze, ume buds in cream — in a composition that reads as a small autumnal anthology. The gold ground holds them in the kind of light that comes through paper windows in the late afternoon. The kiku gives the composition its lineage. The autumn florals give it its season.
A pillow for cream daybeds, charcoal sofas, rooms that welcome a single decisive season — quiet beauty for ordinary moments, gathered around a shared table.
The face is the original silk, backed in undyed linen. Envelope pocket closure. No metal touches the visible silk.

Care
Care
Spot clean only — these are ceremonial silks, not washable textiles. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the depth of colour. The envelope pocket closure requires no zip or metal clasp touching the silk: this is intentional. Mottainai — nothing wasted, nothing forced.
