Wabi kiku. The imperial chrysanthemum in restrained palette — the aesthetic of confident monochrome, where presence is established without ornament.
Against a lustrous copper silk ground, the kiku unfolds in an intricate botanical rhythm of pearl white, cool pewter, and warm cacao thread. No gold. No silver. The piece works in the language of wabi: restrained beauty as the most sophisticated form. The copper gives the composition its warmth. The pearl gives it its quiet.
A pillow for warm linen, aged oak, cream upholstery, biophilic interiors — quiet beauty for ordinary moments, gathered around a shared table.
The face is the original silk. The reverse is solid copper silk — visible only to the buyer who turns a cushion over before deciding. Envelope pocket closure. No metal touches the visible silk.
Renaras: Japanese ceremonial silk, reimagined for daily life.
Each piece arrives with its own passport from the atelier — a small handmade record of the silk's first life and its transformation, signed and dated in Amsterdam.

Care
Care
Spot clean only — these are ceremonial silks, not washable textiles. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the depth of colour. The envelope pocket closure requires no zip or metal clasp touching the silk: this is intentional. Mottainai — nothing wasted, nothing forced.
