Japanese Ceremonial Silk Lumbar Pillow – The Botan Aria, Peony in Champagne and Vermilion

The silk is luminous champagne-gold, with a subtle hishi diamond underweave. Across the field, large-scale botan peonies unfurl in vivid vermilion-red and deep green, their scrolling karakusa arabesque stems sweeping across the surface with the confidence of calligraphy. Flowing wave-curve bands in tone-on-tone gold add movement between the blooms. The vermilion gives the composition its voice. The gold gives it its ground.

A pillow for charcoal sofas, cream daybeds, rooms with warm-toned ceramics — quiet beauty for ordinary moments, gathered around a shared table.

The face carries the peony composition. The reverse is finished in the obi's original champagne satin — soft, luminous, perfectly silent. Envelope pocket closure. No metal touches the visible silk.
