Hishi. The diamond lattice of Japan's imperial and warrior aesthetics. A geometry that has appeared on court robes, samurai armour lacing, and Noh theatre costume for centuries — carried here in a field of interlocking diamonds across a champagne and ivory ground.
The silk is champagne and ivory, woven with metallic silver thread that catches and releases the light as the hour changes. The hishi diamonds interlock across the field in unbroken rhythm, the ground shifting from matte to luminous in the light. No colour competes. The geometry itself is the ornament. The silver gives the composition its lift. The champagne gives it its calm.
A pillow for interiors where stillness is cultivated — linen sofas, pale oak benches, the daybeds of considered rooms — quiet beauty for ordinary moments, gathered around a shared table.
The face is the original silk, backed in undyed linen. Envelope pocket closure. No metal touches the visible silk.

Care
Care
Spot clean only — these are ceremonial silks, not washable textiles. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the depth of colour. The envelope pocket closure requires no zip or metal clasp touching the silk: this is intentional. Mottainai — nothing wasted, nothing forced.
