For Spaces

Renaras places original Japanese ceremonial silk in hotels, restaurants, spas, cafés, and events, and works with the interior designers and architects who specify for them. Each piece is one of a kind. None is ever repeated, so no feature wall of ours will appear in another venue.

Buy or hire

You can acquire pieces outright for a permanent installation, or hire them for an event, a launch, a season, or a styled shoot. For temporary placements we handle delivery, mounting, and collection. For permanent ones, the piece is yours.

Mounting and display

We mount and hang every piece ourselves, or supply the hardware and full instructions if your own team prefers to install. Kimono and tapestries arrive ready to display, on a concealed hanging system, with no frame or glass between the eye and the silk. The Renaras Passport accompanies each piece.

What we place

• Ceremonial kimono — uchikake, iro-uchikake, and furisode, mounted as statement wall pieces. View available pieces
• Wall tapestries — silk artwork at architectural scale, a considered alternative to prints in lobbies, suites, and guest rooms. They hang from two bars, top and bottom, and need no specialist installation. View wall tapestries
• Table runners — for dining tables, omakase counters, sideboards, and reception desks. View table runners
• Framed textile panels — for smaller spaces: a suite desk, a spa waiting room, a lift lobby.
• Bed runners and matching pillows — for hotel and suite styling. Coming soon.

How it works

Renaras does not work from a fixed catalogue. Every placement begins with the space.

You tell us the room: its proportions, its palette, and what it needs to do. We bring a selection chosen for that environment, you keep what belongs there, and the rest returns to the atelier. We work to your timeline and provide care and installation guidance with every piece.

The minimum for a placement is one piece. There is no maximum. In-stock pieces ship within five working days from Amsterdam. Commissions and curated selections are quoted with project lead times, typically four to fourteen weeks. We hold reserves on selected pieces for up to sixty days while a project is approved.
