A lumbar pillow cover in Japanese ceremonial silk, cut from a Nishijin fukuro obi (袋帯): seigaiha (青海波, blue-ocean waves — protection and calm) flowing in metallic gold across a sage-green ground. Envelope-pocket back, no metal against the silk; 50 × 31 cm (also 36 × 31 cm). For calm, grounded interiors. Spot clean only. Unrepeatable, finished at the Renaras atelier, Amsterdam.
Seigaiha. The blue waves of the calm sea. One of Japan's oldest geometric motifs — endless wave arcs representing the protection of the sea, woven here in gold across sage silk.
Against a sage-green ground, seigaiha wave arcs flow across the surface in heavy metallic gold thread, the rhythmic concentric pattern that has appeared on Japanese textiles since the earliest centuries of recorded weaving. The sage gives the composition its calm. The gold gives it its tide.

The face is the original silk, backed in undyed linen. Envelope pocket closure. No metal touches the visible silk.

Every acquisition leaves the atelier in Amsterdam wrapped in furoshiki, accompanied by its Renaras passport, and travels with tracking. Pieces are dispatched within 1–3 working days.
Complimentary delivery within the Netherlands, the European Union and the United Kingdom. Other destinations: €35 under €100, €60 from €100, complimentary from €750; import duties are payable on delivery.

Returns
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the piece is returned in its original condition. Within the European Union, the atelier provides a prepaid return label. Care
Spot clean only — these are ceremonial silks, not washable textiles. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the depth of colour. The envelope pocket closure requires no zip or metal clasp touching the silk: this is intentional. Mottainai — nothing wasted, nothing forced.
