The composed swirl. The complex Jacquard lampas weave — one of the most demanding silk constructions — held here in oxblood and champagne with quiet pink and blue accents.

The runner is drawn from a Japanese ceremonial silk obi — pure silk constructed in a complex Jacquard lampas weave, the abstract swirl motif built into the warp and weft as structural geometry rather than applied decoration. The palette moves through oxblood burgundy and champagne gold with faint pink and blue accents. The oxblood gives the composition its depth. The swirl gives it its movement.

A runner for a long table and low light, where the lampas catches a candle and lets it go again.

The runner is lined in undyed silk to protect the face. No metal touches the visible silk.

Each piece arrives with its own passport from the atelier — a small handmade record of the silk's first life and its transformation, signed and dated in Amsterdam.

Every acquisition leaves the atelier in Amsterdam wrapped in furoshiki, accompanied by its Renaras passport, and travels with tracking. Pieces are dispatched within 1–3 working days.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the piece is returned in its original condition. Within the European Union, the atelier provides a prepaid return label. Care

Spot clean only — these are ceremonial silks, not washable textiles. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the depth of colour. The envelope pocket closure requires no zip or metal clasp touching the silk: this is intentional. Mottainai — nothing wasted, nothing forced.
